Belief.  It’s the secret sauce.

If you can believe it you can do it. You can do the work of its becoming.

You may not need to believe when you consider weight loss, when you consider changing your outer self to match your inner self. You may not need it to read the new book, to buy the healthy food, to watch the Ted Talk on behavior change… You do need it to get the job done.

You have to believe it can be done. Know it. You have to know it’s as good as done when you begin.

There will be moments where you forget, sometimes the moments are whole afternoons or whole weekends- but you come back to it. You choose to keep believing, you choose to know it in you bones.

What does belief look like in action? It looks like:

It looks a lot of different ways but the common thread for the people who believe is emotional adulthood and consistent action. Even when they are tired and would rather watch TV.

Weight loss is boring. Believing is powerful.

When you’re ready I want you to know what that feels like.
