You can do hard things.
You might not want to, but you can.
I’m talking about the everyday kind of hard stuff, like:
- Setting a clear boundary with a family member who always overstays their welcome because if you don’t, you can’t enjoy them.
- It’s saying no to the cookie (even when someone made it from scratch and offered it to you) because it doesn’t get you the results you want.
- Planning for things to be as they actually are, instead of how you wish they were
You can do those hard things, you do them everyday. I think the good question is HOW you do th
- White knuckle it, holding on for dear life. Use will power. Negative thoughts swirling in your head. Questioning. Second guessing. Maybe giving in.
- Plan for it, make a decision. Stop negotiations. Following the plan.
The clients I have that choose planning are nailing it, in life and in weight loss – and isn’t that the point.
Don’t tell anyone, but I don’t give a sh*t what you weigh – or what anyone weighs. I care that you are getting the results that YOU want in your life. Here’s what I mean:
“When I lose 20 pounds then I’ll _______.”
Let’s make sure you get to fill in that blank.
