I lost some weight.

I know, I know, it seems obvious from the weight loss coach – but I haven’t really talked about it here yet!

I haven’t been hiding, but I haven’t been shouting it from the rooftops either. The thing is I don’t care. I don’t care what you weigh either – or how much weight you lose. (…but stick with me here!)

What I care about, the thing that gets me dance-in-my-skinny-pants happy about life is when people get to enjoy their lives.

We work hard, all of us. We show up for life and we do the best that we can. Sometimes we get distracted. Then we make a habit of being distracted. Then, before we even know it, we aren’t who we meant to be. We got lost on our way to becoming and we don’t know how to get back, or forward, or just headed in that general “right” direction.

I get it.

I got lost. Then I got used to the struggle. Then I thought the struggle was my life.

The process for me, and for my clients, is the process of losing weight – yes – but it is also the process of disentangling from the struggle. Sorting out the bits that are you from the bits that aren’t. Deciding what to keep.

Do the work of disentanglement. Free yourself. If you want to lose some weight in the process we should check in, I want to hear what you are thinking in the comments!
