Oprah Loves Bread. Weight watchers figured out a way for Oprah to lose weight AND have bread. It changed her life – so much so that she talks about it on TV. (…but wait, Oprah has always talked about her weight loss on TV!).

Oprah was different this time, so the process was different. Did you watch her Super Soul Sunday talk I shared with you a month or so ago? If you did, you’ll remember – she is different. She has changed how she thinks about her body and herself. She has changed her brain – and her body is falling in line with that change.

So, Oprah can love herself, love bread, and love weight watchers and it can work for her. You can do the same thing. What you can’t do is love bread, love weight watchers, and love yourself – it just doesn’t work in that order.

You gotta decide you are worth it, life is worth it. Be an active participant in the changing. Be willing to do the hard work of loving the ‘bread loving’ part of you, the person on the other side of your weight loss, AND especially the person you are right now, before anything has changed.

This is hard. It’s hard because it’s what we’ve all been avoiding. We’re in the habit of doing diets and failing diets and feeling crappy about ourselves – repeat.

When you sign up for something new if the weight loss is your only goal, you’ll be fat again. If you sign up for something new with a new goal, and you commit to doing different – you’ll never be the same again.

I want for you what Oprah has – but weight watchers doesn’t have it. SHE had it. She had what she needed when she went in, this time. I am so happy for her – she has struggled and now she chooses peace and it is for reals this time. Congratufucklations Oprah, you have earned it.

So do your thing, but do it different so that you can get out of the: Decide, try, succeed, then fail, loop and into the: Decide, do, keep doing, enjoy life, loop.
