This is the sixth in and final post in a series that mirrors the process of weight coaching. This session is about living here today, and enjoying yourself.

This body that you are riding through life, it’s the only one you get. It is here now, working for you, responding to your every action. Taking your abuse, appreciating your care.

This body HAS to be the body you take with you into the future. In order to do that we figure out you can enjoy it. Right. Where. It. Is.

I always think about those times you lost weight, maybe it was a bunch, maybe it was just a little. Then it came back. You see, when the person you are on the inside (you) doesn’t change along with the person on the outside (your body) one will pull the other back. Your body felt great closer to its natural weight, moving and shaking and wearing new jeans! But your mind – still back in fat pants couldn’t hang.

This is the part of the work that is above and beyond any diet or prescribed deal. This is where you get to evolve yourself and your body can’t help but keep up.

What a ride.
