We were just about back at the house. Liv was ready to get out of the stroller and I had a huge “Aha!” I had to park the stroller on the sidewalk, thank her for being patient, and email myself a message so I could tell you what I had just realized.

When I’m not losing weight/maintaining goal weight – I’m not progressing.

  Okay, stick with me, because I know that sounds crazy – I’m still feeling this one out.

There’s this way that I show up in the world, like right now, that is on my edge of learning and growth – where I’m creating and building. Where I forget to eat.

Wait, what?! I’ve never been that person that forgot to eat… Here’s the deal though. When life is engaging, when you’re engaged with it, when you’re creating the life you want – it’s way better than pizza.

I’m not saying you should never get enjoyment from your meals – I enjoy most of mine!

I’m saying that if you get the sense that there is something out there in your life that may just be better than eating the way you eat right now – I would have to tell you I have to agree!

I want to know what you think – because this still feels a little crazy for me to put out there…

Like, you might actually think I’m nuts after reading this.

I’m not, I swear, I’ve never been better. I’m happy. I’m fulfilled. I have joy. Peace, and freedom – and it has nothing to do with what I ate.
