Peace is always yours to create.
Today I’m celebrating Christmas with family in Northern California. I’m feeling warm, toasty, and peace-filled.
I feel this way because I created these feelings with my thoughts. I know that if I want to be peaceful I have to think peaceful.
You have to believe the thoughts you’re creating. You can’t just think nutmeg-dusted-narwhal thoughts and expect the world to change. You gotta think thoughts that are believable for you.
Here are mine:
- This is exactly what I was looking forward to.
- Everyone is here because they love each other.
- I love my life.
- This is exactly what the holidays are supposed to be!
- I love how consistent everyone is with how they show up for the holidays.
- What thoughts would create peace for you?
You could choose something else too. Some people don’t want to feel the holiday spirit, so pick what you want to feel – whatever it is. Is that how you’re feeling right now?
If it is, what’s the thought you’re thinking that’s making that feeling happen for you? If it isn’t, what (believable) thought would get you there?
Think good thoughts,
Caryn
